Conklin St. Pat's Parade detours into bar...again

CONKLIN, Mich. (WZZM) - For almost a quarter-century the Irish, and those who claim to be, fill the small community of Conklin on St. Patrick's Day.

The town's Main Street turned a sea of green this morning. Hundreds of West Michigan residents turned out to take part in the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

A marching band, flags, and flying green beads are part of what attracts both young and old to the town's biggest event, which lasts about five minutes as it makes a detour in front of Fenian's Irish Pub.
