Now’s your chance to enjoy the “MI Big Green Gym” by picking up free state park passes at your local library.
The Michigan Recreation and Parks Association is teaming up with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to offer free passes, allowing visitors to experience free recreation programs many of the parks offer.
Passes are valid for seven days after checking out books from the library, and are good for one free day into any state park or recreation area. Participating libraries include the Alvah N. Belding Memorial Library, Cedar Springs Public Library, Coopersville Area District Library, Flat River Community Library in My Town Greenville, Gary Byker Memorial Library of Hudsonville, Georgetown Township Library, Grand Rapids Public Library, Hackley Public Library in My Town Muskegon, Herrick District Library in My Town Holland, Howard Miller Library in My Town Zeeland, Kalamazoo Public Library, Kent District Library in My Town Comstock Park, Loutit District Library in My Town Grand Haven, Muskegon Area District Library, Sparta Carnegie Township Library, Spring Lake District Library and White Lake Community Library in My Town Whitehall.
