COOPERSVILLE, Mich.—An author focused on finding the truth about Michigan’s largest mass murder will share his findings next week.
Author Steve Lehto will visit Coopersville Area District Library Thursday, June 5 at 7 p.m. The event is presented by Coopersville Historical Society. In his newest book, “Death’s Door: The Truth Behind Michigan’s Largest Mass Murder”, Lehto sifts through conflicting news reports, transcripts and other documents to set the record straight about the Christmas Eve 1913 massacre in Calumet.
