COOPERSVILLE, Mich.—The founder of a Coopersville-based nonprofit aimed at helping children with disabilities is releasing a new children’s book.

Lori Hasting’s third book, titled “Blue Bear, the Bear with No Hair” will be available within the next week. Hasting, who was diagnosed with limb-girdle muscular dystrophy as a child, writes her books using voice activated software. Proceeds from each book go to her organization, Lori’s Voice, which supports young people with disability.

“Blue Bear, the Bear with No Hair” features illustrations by Julie Baldwin.  For updates on its sale, visit Lori’s Voice’s Facebook page.
