Sparta's Michigan Beer Cellar changing owners

Michigan Beer Cellar at 500 E Division Street in Sparta is getting a new owner. According to the Facebook page of Michigan Beer Cellar, the brewery is being sold to Chuck Brown from Coopersville. Brown apparently has deep experience in the restaurant and food service industry and plans to continue to grow Michigan Beer Cellar. The current owners are training Brown on all aspects of the brewery in the next few months.

The same beers, wines, and distilled products are expected to be made under the new ownership, along with some new products. Brown started at the brewery full time starting last Monday while the licensing process is worked out.

Job Board available at Coopersville High School

Job Board available at Coopersville High School

If you are a legitimate business with a tax ID number and are in need of younger employees for part-time work, are you aware you can post a job opening on the High School Job Board at Coopersville High School?

The school knows it can be difficult to find good employees and feels they can help by letting businesses post openings. Personal ads for things such as babysitting or yard work are not accepted.
