Ottawa Conservation District throws public picnic August 8 | Community Spirit
COOPERSVILLE, Mich.—The Ottawa Conservation District will celebrate its 75th anniversary this week with a public picnic in Coopersville Thursday, August 8.
The community is invited to Eastmanville Farm Park, located at 7851 Leonard Rd. for a pig roast, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The picnic will also feature side dishes created from locally grown foods prepared in Ottawa County. The event will also include presentations about Michigan’s feral hogs, as well as how highly-trained dogs are keeping the water clean all over the country. Visitors can also bid in a silent auction and tour Eastmanville Farm Park.
The picnic celebration runs through 9 p.m. Thursday.
