News

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- A driver was hospitalized after driving his car into the Grand River Friday morning.

The incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. near 120th Avenue and Limberlost Lane.

Deputies say a 25-year-old Grand Haven man walked to a nearby residence after the crash into the river. He was taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital for minor injuries and exposure.

Investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. The driver could face charges but is not yet in police custody.
