HUDSONVILLE, Mich.—A state lawmaker from Hudsonville is celebrating a voting milestone.

State Rep. Roger Victory had a perfect voting record during the 2013-2014 legislative session.  The House took 1,345 roll call votes and Victory did not miss a single one of them.

“It’s absolutely necessary to ensure the thoughts, concerns and opinions of my constituents are heard on all issues up for a vote in the House of Representatives,” Victory said in a statement. “It is my duty to represent and serve the area every day.”

During the legislature’s last session, lawmakers approved a bill sponsored by Victory that would reduce welfare fraud.

Victory represents the 88th District, which includes Coopersville as well as Georgetown, Polkton and Allendale townships.  To contact his office, call 1-888-642-4088 or (517) 373-1830 or email RogerVictory@house.mi.gov.
