Coopersville Schools Welcomes New Technology Director

Scott Plough is the new Technology Director for Coopersville Schools. He will be jumping right in with his duties to help oversee some new mini laptop purchases. This will help complete the tech plan of giving every student in grades 6-12 a mini netbook to use by the fall of 2012. The middle school and the high school have wireless technology enabling students to use their “Mini’s” anywhere within their buildings.

Scott was formerly the Network Manager for Muskegon schools. “With the huge investment of technology here in the district, now is the time to protect that investment with a Director who can manage all aspects of that technology.” said Ron Veldman Assistant Superintendent. This position will also allow us to do many services in-house thus saving on contracted services for a considerable cost savings for the District.”
