Green with Homecoming Fever!

COOPERSVILLE MI - An annual tradition for Coopersville Broncos is to come together preschool through High School and celebrate "Bronco Style" with an all-school Pep Assembly. Having all schools on one campus affords us the luxury of coming together and celebrating. All 2,500+ students cheered on the Bronco Athletes and sang the fight song. Homecoming Parade is at 5:00 p.m. and the Game is at 7:00 against Belding. GO BRONCOS!

Family Literacy Fiesta

Family Literacy Fiesta

COOPERSVILLE, MI - Literacy is a family affair in Coopersville. Students in the Migrant Education and English Language Learners programs came together to learn about the importance of reading. Parents watched a video about great techniques to use to get their child to read. Students in the Early Childhood program recited some poems and Nursery Rhymes for their parents. Students of all ages young and old were given some great resources for reading.  It is never too early or too late to begin to read.

Coopersville High School Collects Spare Change for Cancer Research

Students throughout Michigan put in much more than their two cents this year to raise money for Pasta for Pennies presented by Olive Garden and benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).  In fact, more than 205,000 students at 315 elementary, middle and high schools in Michigan collectively raised $450,000 to support cancer research.  Thanks to their successful efforts, combined with funds contributed by students nationwide, the funds raised for LLS through Pasta for Pennies over the past 17 years now total more than $61 million.

Students in first through 12th grade participated in this year’s program by filling collection jars and boxes in their classrooms with spare change over a three-week period during the school year.  The top fundraising class at each participating school received a pasta party from their local Olive Garden restaurant.
